Good price, superior quality, I gave them a 2-month installation deadline, I told them there was no rush, but after a week and a half they came and installed 4 windows and one door at the entrance... the guys from the installation team were 10/10 professionalism... I highly recommend this company... they repaired the spot next to the window and door so you wouldn't even notice that work was done there.Posted on Google![]()

Very happy with the Finnished product. Windows and doors are good quality. I also had lintels put in and the brickie did a good job also filling in some cracks. The window fitters all knew what they where doing and were professional, and give me good advice otherwise I could of potentially had a wall come down, hence I had lintels fitted. Sue the salesman was brilliant 👏 very friendly and knowledgeable. No aggressive sales pitch. I had a couple of little issues at the end but these were sorted within 24hrs. Overall I'm a happy customer 😊 ☺️ 😌 Brilliant job 👏 👍 👌Posted on Google![]()

Over the moon with our new doors and windows. Such a quick turnaround as well! All the staff I dealt with were brilliant from Aaron who came to measure up and provide the quote - talking us through the process and giving us options without being remotely pushy, to Craig and the lads who came and did a stellar job of fitting everything - really polite, friendly and hard working people. I would absolutely recommend Super Glazing in future.Posted on Google![]()

I highly recommend Super Glazing. They have just completed work on my house replacing 7 windows plus a 4 window bay, a tiled over bay and door canopy and guttering to my large conservatory. The quality of products used is superb and the workmanship is excellent. I am highly delighted with the look, finish and attention to detail. From initial quotation by Aaron through to completion by the installation team took less than 3 weeks as I needed a quick turnaround. Everything was explained to me in detail by Aaron and the surveyors and carried out by Steve, Liam and James to the highest standard. Mike from the office followed up by making sure I was completely happy with the job. Super Glazing offer a value for money, quality service with friendliness, professionalism and efficiency.Posted on Google![]()

I cannot recommend Super Glazing Windows enough. From start to finish the whole experience was professional, smooth, and extremely well organised. The staff were friendly, helpful and took the time to explain everything clearly, which made the whole process stress-free. The quality of the windows and doors is outstanding and the workmanship during installation was excellent. You can really tell they take pride in what they do. I was so pleased with the results that I’ve already gone back and purchased more, and I’ve recommended them to several friends as well. If you’re looking for a reliable company that provides high-quality products with fantastic customer service, Super Glazing Windows are definitely the company to use. A tiled conservatory roof is one of the most effective ways to transform an older conservatory into a comfortable living space that can be enjoyed throughout every season. Replacing an ageing glass or polycarbonate roof with a modern insulated tiled roof significantly improves thermal efficiency, reduces outside noise, and creates a room that feels much more like a natural extension of your home.
Across Nottingham, many conservatories built during the 1990s and early 2000s still have original polycarbonate roofing that has gradually become less efficient over time. Homeowners in areas such as Arnold, Bestwood, Bulwell, Wollaton, Bilborough, Beeston, and Chilwell are increasingly choosing tiled conservatory roof replacements to improve comfort while giving their conservatory a completely new appearance. Internally, the insulated ceiling creates a plastered finish that accommodates lighting and heating, allowing the space to function as a genuine year-round living area.
Modern glass conservatory roofs offer the perfect balance of natural light, energy efficiency, and year-round comfort. For homeowners across Nottingham, they provide an excellent alternative to older polycarbonate roofs, allowing you to enjoy bright, open living spaces without the excessive heat in summer or significant heat loss during winter.
Today’s solar-control glass technology has transformed conservatory performance. Special coatings help reflect unwanted solar heat while still allowing plenty of natural daylight into the room. Combined with high-performance insulated glazing, modern glass roofs create a comfortable environment throughout the seasons while maintaining uninterrupted views of the sky and garden.
Nottingham’s diverse housing stock ranges from elegant Victorian and Edwardian homes to post-war family properties and modern developments. Whether you own a character property in West Bridgford, a traditional semi-detached home in Arnold, or a contemporary family home in Beeston or Bingham, a well-designed conservatory can provide valuable additional living space while complementing your property’s existing architecture.
At Super Glazing, every conservatory is individually designed around your home, garden orientation, and lifestyle. From classic Victorian and Edwardian designs that suit Nottingham’s period properties to modern Lean-To and P-Shape conservatories for newer developments, we create attractive living spaces that deliver comfort throughout every season.
An orangery offers the perfect balance between a traditional conservatory and a full home extension. Combining solid masonry pillars, insulated walls, and a central glazed lantern roof, orangeries create bright, elegant spaces with excellent thermal performance throughout the year.
They are particularly well suited to Nottingham’s larger Victorian and Edwardian homes in areas such as West Bridgford, Mapperley Park, The Park Estate, and Radcliffe on Trent, where the additional architectural detail enhances the character of the existing property. Every orangery is carefully designed to blend with your home while providing a comfortable space for relaxing, entertaining, or everyday family life.
A single-storey extension provides a permanent way to increase your living space while adding long-term value to your home. Built to modern building regulations with high levels of insulation, extensions offer the comfort and practicality of any other room within your property.
Whether you’re extending a Victorian terrace in Lenton, creating a larger kitchen in Radford, or adding a spacious family room to a detached home in Bingham or Beeston, our experienced team manages every stage of the project. From planning guidance through to construction and final finishes, we deliver extensions designed around the way you live.
If you’ve been searching online for “conservatory roof near me in Nottingham”, Super Glazing proudly designs and installs conservatories, replacement conservatory roofs, orangeries, and home extensions throughout Nottingham (NG1–NG25) and the surrounding East Midlands.
Nottingham offers an incredibly varied housing stock, from elegant Victorian villas and Edwardian homes to post-war family properties and modern developments. Because every property is different, we tailor every conservatory, tiled roof conversion, glass roof installation, and orangery to suit your home’s style, layout, and the way you want to use your new living space.
These areas feature many period homes where Victorian conservatories, elegant orangeries, and heritage-inspired designs complement the existing architecture while creating bright, comfortable living spaces.
Many homes across these neighbourhoods have older conservatories that benefit from modern tiled conservatory roof replacements, helping transform seasonal rooms into comfortable spaces that can be enjoyed all year round.
One of our busiest service areas for new conservatories, replacement conservatory roofs, and bespoke orangery projects, with solutions designed to complement both traditional and modern family homes.
Larger detached and semi-detached properties often benefit from spacious conservatories, premium orangeries, and insulated tiled roof systems that create versatile living areas throughout every season.
From Newark and Southwell to Mansfield and Worksop, we design conservatories and home extensions that complement rural homes, market-town properties, and contemporary developments across the wider Nottinghamshire area.
We also provide conservatory roofing and home improvement services throughout nearby locations including Derby, Leicester, Loughborough, Lincoln, Retford, Gainsborough, and Chesterfield, delivering high-quality installations designed for long-term comfort, energy efficiency, and lasting performance.
Nottingham’s diverse housing stock means every conservatory project requires careful planning. From elegant Victorian homes and suburban family properties to modern developments, the most successful conservatories are those designed around the character of the property, the available space, and how the room will be used. Every survey we carry out helps us recommend the most suitable conservatory, orangery, or replacement conservatory roof for each home.
West Bridgford, Mapperley Park, and surrounding areas are home to many Victorian and Edwardian properties with generous gardens and distinctive architectural features. These homes often suit elegant Victorian conservatories, Edwardian designs, or bespoke orangeries finished in heritage-inspired colours that complement the property’s original character. Where conservation areas apply, we carefully consider planning requirements before recommending a design.
Arnold, Bestwood, Wollaton, Bilborough, Beeston, and Chilwell contain many semi-detached homes built between the 1950s and 1980s. These neighbourhoods also have a large number of older conservatories with ageing polycarbonate roofs. Modern tiled conservatory roof replacements, Lean-To conservatories, and Edwardian designs remain popular choices, creating comfortable living spaces that can be enjoyed throughout the year.
Clifton, Ruddington, Tollerton, Radcliffe-on-Trent, Bingham, and Cotgrave feature many detached and larger semi-detached properties with generous rear gardens. These homes are well suited to spacious conservatories and premium orangeries, while south-facing gardens often benefit from solar-control glass roofing to improve comfort during the warmer East Midlands summer months.
Parts of Nottingham city centre, the Lace Market, and The Park Estate include conservation areas where the appearance of new conservatories and orangeries may require additional planning consideration. During every survey, we assess whether conservation guidance or listed building requirements could influence the design, helping homeowners choose a solution that complements both the property and its surroundings.
Yes — Derby (DE postcodes), Leicester and Loughborough (LE postcodes), Lincoln (LN postcodes), Retford (DN22), Gainsborough (DN21), and Chesterfield (S40–S44) are all within our regular working region from Nottingham. We’re a genuinely regional East Midlands company and surrounding county coverage is part of our standard operation. If you’re between these areas and unsure about coverage, call us and we’ll confirm for your specific address and postcode.
For south-facing conservatory roofs across Nottingham — which applies to many NG11 (Clifton, Ruddington, Tollerton) and NG12 (Radcliffe on Trent, Bingham) garden orientations — solar-control glass is strongly recommended. This glass incorporates a surface coating that selectively reflects a significant proportion of solar infrared energy before it enters the room while maintaining good daylight transmission. The practical result is a conservatory that remains comfortable through East Midlands summer afternoons without requiring air conditioning. Self-cleaning glass is also worth considering for any Nottingham conservatory roof that is difficult to access for manual cleaning — the photocatalytic coating activates in natural daylight and allows rainfall to rinse away debris without detergent.
A standard uPVC Lean-To or Edwardian conservatory on an existing concrete base in Nottingham takes three to five working days to install once groundworks are complete. Larger builds — P-Shape, T-Shape, or large Victorian conservatories — take five to eight days. Orangeries with masonry work take one to two weeks. Tiled roof conversions on existing Nottingham conservatory structures take one to two days for the installation itself. Single-storey extensions take two to four weeks depending on the specification. We confirm the specific programme for your Nottingham project in the written quote and we deliver to it.
In our experience across Nottingham NG postcodes, yes — emphatically. The large volume of 1990s and early 2000s conservatories across NG5, NG6, NG8, and NG9 with polycarbonate roofs are now at the stage where the material has significantly degraded in both thermal and optical performance. Many are yellowed, some are cracking at fixing points, and virtually all are uncomfortable for more than half the year. A tiled warm roof conversion typically takes one to two days for a standard Nottingham lean-to or Edwardian structure, costs a fraction of a new build, and transforms the room’s usability permanently. It also typically falls within permitted development — no planning application required for most Nottingham NG postcodes.
A conservatory has a predominantly glazed roof — typically 75% or more of the roof area is glass or a tiled glazing system — with either dwarf brick walls or full-height glazed frames. An orangery has solid masonry pillars and parapet walls with a central lantern or glazed roof section — it has considerably more architectural mass, better thermal performance, better acoustic performance, and reads as a more permanent room addition than a conservatory. For Nottingham’s quality period housing stock — the Victorian detached of West Bridgford (NG2) and Mapperley Park (NG3), and the larger Edwardian properties around The Park (NG7) — an orangery is often the specification that best matches the character and scale of the host building. For the majority of NG5, NG8, and NG9 semi-detached stock, a well-specified conservatory with a tiled roof delivers outstanding value at a more accessible price point.
