Good price, superior quality, I gave them a 2-month installation deadline, I told them there was no rush, but after a week and a half they came and installed 4 windows and one door at the entrance... the guys from the installation team were 10/10 professionalism... I highly recommend this company... they repaired the spot next to the window and door so you wouldn't even notice that work was done there.

Very happy with the Finnished product. Windows and doors are good quality. I also had lintels put in and the brickie did a good job also filling in some cracks. The window fitters all knew what they where doing and were professional, and give me good advice otherwise I could of potentially had a wall come down, hence I had lintels fitted. Sue the salesman was brilliant 👏 very friendly and knowledgeable. No aggressive sales pitch. I had a couple of little issues at the end but these were sorted within 24hrs. Overall I'm a happy customer 😊 ☺️ 😌 Brilliant job 👏 👍 👌

Over the moon with our new doors and windows. Such a quick turnaround as well! All the staff I dealt with were brilliant from Aaron who came to measure up and provide the quote - talking us through the process and giving us options without being remotely pushy, to Craig and the lads who came and did a stellar job of fitting everything - really polite, friendly and hard working people. I would absolutely recommend Super Glazing in future.

Polycarbonate or Glass Roof Conservatory?

While polycarbonate roofs are a more affordable option, glass conservatory roofs offer numerous advantages that make them a worthwhile investment. Here are some key differences between the two:

Aspect Glass Conservatory Roof Polycarbonate Conservatory Roof
Thermal Efficiency Superior thermal insulation, retains heat effectively Less effective insulation, may result in higher energy consumption
Natural Light Allows maximum natural light penetration Can diffuse light, creating a slightly dimmer ambiance
Longevity and Durability Longer lifespan, less prone to warping and damage Prone to warping, discoloration, and damage from weather conditions
Maintenance Requires minimal maintenance May require more frequent cleaning and upkeep
Cost Higher initial cost, but may be more cost-effective in the long run Lower initial cost, but may incur higher energy bills and maintenance costs over time

Glass conservatory roofs offer superior thermal efficiency, longevity, and durability compared to polycarbonate roofs. However, they typically come with a higher initial cost. Depending on your priorities and budget, you can choose the option that best suits your needs.

Maintaining a Glass Conservatory Roof

Proper maintenance is essential to ensure the longevity and performance of your glass conservatory roof. Here are some tips to keep your roof in top condition:

  • Regular Cleaning: Clean your glass roof at least twice a year to remove dirt, debris, and any potential build-up. Use a mild detergent or specialized glass cleaner and a soft cloth or sponge to avoid scratching the glass surface.
  • Check for Damage: Inspect your roof for any signs of damage, such as cracks, leaks, or loose fittings. Address any issues promptly to prevent further damage and maintain the integrity of your conservatory.
  • Trim Surrounding Vegetation: Trim any overhanging branches or foliage that may come into contact with your glass roof conservatory. This will help prevent damage from falling debris and minimize the risk of scratches or breakages.
  • Clear Gutters and Drainage: Ensure that gutters and drainage channels are clear of leaves, debris, and other obstructions. This will prevent water from pooling on your roof and causing potential leaks or water damage.
